Bring me your current tool

Nyva field notes All posts

You pay someone every month for software you do not love. You know this. You have known it for a while.

Maybe it was supposed to be the thing that let you close the laptop at seven. Maybe you bought it because the sales guy was persuasive. Maybe you have been on it so long you cannot remember when it last did something useful. Either way, something in the back of your head keeps saying this is not it.

And you keep paying. Not because you are stuck, but because switching sounds exhausting. The demos are a performance. The free trial will drop a credit card hold on your account. The “chat with sales” button leads to a slide deck and a quote with your crew size on it. Every path forward feels like getting sold to.

So you leave it alone, and the monthly charge keeps going out, and nothing changes.

Here is what I am offering this month. Thirty minutes on a video call, your current tool on the screen, me on the other end. You walk me through what you have, where it hurts, and what you wish it did. I tell you, honestly, two things.

One. What your current tool is actually doing for you, and what you are paying extra for and not using. Most shops are paying for seats they do not need, modules they never opened, and integrations that have not fired since 2024. Thirty minutes is enough to see all of it.

Two. Whether switching is worth it for a shop your size. If staying is the right call, I say so and I tell you the one setting I would change this week to get more out of what you already have. If switching makes sense, I tell you what two days looks like and what it would cost you, in time, to make the move. Then you decide.

No deck. No demo of our app unless you ask. No “sign up to see pricing.” If you leave the call and never talk to us again, you still leave with a cleaner read on what your current tool is actually costing you.

TODAY "Something isn't right." "It was supposed to be easier." "I'll figure it out later." The charge keeps going out. AFTER 30 MINUTES What you're paying for. What you're not getting. An honest next step. Or a reason to stay, said out loud.

Thirty minutes, your current tool on screen, a clear picture either way.

I am taking eight of these slots this month. Half an hour each, split across the next two weeks, mornings and evenings so you can duck out between jobs or do it after dinner. Email hello@nyva.app with your trade, your crew size, and the name of the tool you are using now. I will send back three time options and a short list of what to have open on screen so we do not waste the first ten minutes clicking around.

If you have a wrench in your hand half the week and a login you do not love the rest of it, this is for you. Plans that fit a one-truck shop or a five-truck crew. No per-user fees. No contract. If you decide to try us after the call, the first month is on the house.
